When things are tough and everyting seems to be going a bit sour im the first to whinge and often get very supportive comments from you lot

Not today - Im still buzzing from last night even after very little sleep due to the after gig buzz. :toot:

It was an 18th in my regular village pub venue and what a night it was. Setup at 6, i go early for a drink and chat with the landlord. with guests arriving at 7.30 ish. Was asked to play some softer modern chart stuff as backgroung music until the buffet.

Then it went bonkers - a lot of modern chart r'n'b / dance a blast into the 80's, a load of cheese and some high volume dance to round the night off. They had a bus collecting them at 12.30 and they literally left the venue dancing with no wind down

Great atmosphere even though there were only about 40 people. The function room is less than 20' square but is in the middle of 3 rooms knocked together to form 1 long room with folding doors. 20 people on the dance floor and its full.

I don't know what happened it was just the right time ans place. I had a great flow and pulled off some cracking mixes

Playlist to be posted soon and i will highlight some mixes that surprised everybody, even me.

Thanks again for all the support during the dark days.

Very happy with a few good gigs coming up this month. I think the nice weather has lifted my spirits full stop.

And so far my chronic hayfever is not bothering me where as everybody else is suffering. how strange!
