There is no way I would have root canal work done again, once was enough! 18months of agony & after £350 worth of treatment the tooth had to be taken out. We had exactly the same problem with a ProSound 1000 Amp; it would peak at half volume while at zero DB on the mixer. In fact we had a Stageline 400 which had a lot more output than the ProSound 1000. If your budget is tight go for a Behringer EP1500 or 2500, or if you can find anyone selling them C-Mark Amps.

After having 3 Indesit washing machines over 28 years we went for another Indesit a year a go, this had both hot & cold connections BUT it has been a pile of rubbish. The bearings have had to be replaced twice & the drum replaced in that year, all done under warrantee luckily.

Class-D is not a name I had heard of before, nor had anyone else we asked, that was before asking about speakers on this forum. Chris Pointon & DJ Dickie recommended the Class-D speaker package, comprising of a pair of JAC15’s a pair of CD15’s complete with speaker poles. Thanks for the feedback so far, I’ll pass your thoughts on to him. I failed to mention he is thinking of replacing both the bass bins & the tops for £700, the old Peavey tops cost £200 & the old Omitrionic bass bins only cost £150 when he got them. So he was hoping by spending more than twice as much he may be able to get something better, he is also looking at hopefully reducing the size & weight of the old speakers without loosing quality. Does anyone have any experience of DAP speakers? Good or bad ???? My son has decided to invest up to £700 on some new speakers for the start of this year, & these fall within the price Bracket. His old peavey ST-15’s have taken a lot of abuse over the last two & a half years, & considering they are only rated at 150W RMS they have been used with a 250W RMS AMP for most of that time without any complaints.
