Martin Mac250's Are They Difficult To Control?
Kent Discos replied to Tommo55's topic in Buying Equipment
are they just the standard 250s? or are they the newer ones? - the old 250+ are better than the 250 in terms of output of light, so show would be a little nicer, they are MSD anyway so would be quite decent for any disco. they are quite easy to control as long as you know what you are doing with them, any decent enough controller will give you more than enough stuff to play with, computer based ones like the Martin light jockey will give you good results, but again, as long as you know how to programme DMX properly any decent show can be achieved with most controllers. -

heya guys, just after a few ideas.... in the new year i am planning on replacing my main speakers, i currently have the peavey pro system - 2x 15" bass bins and 2x 15" tops. now over time the carpet has decided to well... wear out and the feet have "sunk" into the speakers base... (only 2 on the subs) i have been looking at a few options on the internet, but haven't heard these systems before and there is no local audio place in my area from my experiences i would like PASSIVE wooden cabs that have no carpet. i would also like to keep the same setup, so 2x15" subs and 2x1

Peavey Pro-sub P Mkii Messenger Series Active
Kent Discos replied to Swingcats's topic in Buying Equipment
i have the MK1 pro-subs in passive, they are basically the same as the mkii but different colour afaik. they are very good subs - have a nice tight punch, although the carpet wears out on them easily and the design is a little weak.... at the moment one of mine is making a few noises where the handle on one side is shaking loose!
