im actually selling an active sub at the moment on ebay, wharfedale evp-x15pb. its quite cheap but does the job when needed

im selling this as i dont use it at many venues because the venues are very small. When i do decide to use the sub it makes the sound so much fuller and deeper. these are £389 new 400watt active sub looking for £250 ono the carpet on the front edges have come off on my sub but sounds perfect

like new £225+postage i still have the original box for this. im getting a nuark dds instead. south wales for collection

my dad uses rcf 715a's for live gigs and loves them

been hearing mixed reviews on these now some good, some really bad i think i might hold out and get some rcf 715a or qsc k12/15

them solar 250 lghts have some mad effects but are still very expensive to buy

i know the 250watt stormbird was awesome. very powerful light but i havent witnessed the led version.

i have been having freezing issues but getting less and less as im going through my music and sorting it out a bit. done 2 disco's with it so far and it froze once but i was playing a cd at the time through the mixer so it didnt effect the disco in anyway

simple fix. the units 5amp fuse had blown

its a little over a year old and last night was the first time i have run an IEC cable from it to another light and they both stopped working. cant get either to work now. it was the beginning of lasts nights gig. i have another gig tonight, i have enough lights for the occassion but would really like this to work aswel

Some of my music is off itunes and can apparently cause the cortex to crash aa they are an AAC file type. I don't know how I can find all the AAC files so I can change or delete them.

i will definatelt try a new lead as this happened again just now when was skipping through the menus. i did go to put the usb cable into the usb slot on the front of the cortex earlier and it switched the cortex on. is that normal

the cortex crashes or it says it has been disconnected from the drive. but i managed to use it for 2 hours last night with no problems.

i just downloaded Easus partition software as you suggested and it formatted the drive to fat32 straight away. i will create the DB and add some music to try it out now i have added a small amount of music to try out but it crashes out randomly after about 10 mins

oops i dont know the only other option to format it was ntfs. i will try it in 2 mins now

im formatting it to exFAT at the moment.

when in control panel i get given a list of hard drives and what space is left on them except the 160gb unit from the dds. the harddrive is in the dds unit and locked in place. the usb cable comes out of the back and goes into the laptop usb port. this cable is the only usb port at the back of the dds. so im assuming the cabel takes both dvd drive and HDD info to and from the dds to the laptop. the laptop picks up 2 devices both named the same, but doesnt say how big they are or whether i can format them. not many options to do anything with them. also the cortex picks them both up b

i managed to pick up a cortex hdc 3000 for £193 on ebay last week the cortex hdc 1000 are going for less if your lucky

definately got me thinking about buying a pair for some uplighting behind the dj stand.
