  1. Hi all, I have some abstract twister 4 HP lights and need to have the smallest and simplest controller. The one that foots the bill is the abstract MINI Controller. I know this bit of kit is old and dated but if anyone has this controller that wants to see it go to a good home and are looking to sell it or possibly when I might be able to source one than that would be FAB. many thanks josh
  2. I didn't really DJ at the kids party as the host (the dad) wanted to do that but from what I saw, everything that Dukeysys said is correct and it could have done some help with the parents joining in. The party was 2 hours (good length) and the host wanted to get in some games so I worked with them to give them a rough idea of how well the 2hrs could be spent. As its only 2 hours and with around 14:45- Start - background music commence 15:00 - Kids/parents arrive, let them “chill” a bit background music, food should be laid out (but still wrapped – so kids/par

Did a friends kids party last weekend, in return for allowing me to test my new phone application where I was able to remote control the whole gig from my mobile phone, MCing was done by the Dad, my job was to start/stop/play/mix appropriate music remotely so I can hang about with helping other parts of the party. Here is what played at the event. 11. Hi all, I'm after lighting that I can place on the floor and creates a nice wide ray affect. I have seen it being used on Charlotte churches show when they have 2 massive lights on either side of the studio and these are pointed up but when the audience looks at it, they are just rays that come out? If you take a look at this video then you can see what I mean at 42/43 seconds into the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGmqr2XPNJY also here is the charlotte church opening and you can see it in the 20s frame. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGmqr2XPNJY I have a larg

  13. To be honest, I don't think they know too....but mastermix might be in a better position to know? Now that recently Apples Itunes, EMI and now Amazon are all going to be selling DRM free music, prolly many more after that - I think the landscape is changing where companies like MCPS and BPI really need to think of todays world and not what it was 5 years ago. What strikes me is that there are so many DJ's that want to go legal but the current rules just don't seem to allow it. I saw a poster at the local dj shop that BPI will be visiting random venues in the next 2 months where they targe
  14. Sure Dale, I don't have this with me right now so will get it scanned in and post it back up here for everyone when I get to my cans.
  15. Yes, for example (from memory you could set Dip switch ON: 1,2 OFF: 3,4,5,5,6,7,8 and this will stay onto RED or Dip switch ON: 3,4 OFF: 1,2,5,6,7,8 and this will leave it to GREEN The PAR can comes with a sheet explaining all the settings.
