Do you spend a lot of time reseaching, lyrics and artists behavior before playing tracks?
:bouncy:
It's one of the earliest tracks which made use of a sampler. I remember at the time we used to play it quite a bit, and it lead me to buy a sampler and play with it at the t-t-t-t-t-t-t-time. Quite revolutionary in those early days.
I can't imagine it would do much on the dancefloor now though.

.....and said she would pay no more than £70

.............. - as that's one of the huge down sides to agencey work. The venues might be nice, but when the impressed guest asks who you are, you can't hand out your own card!
I currently get a lot of work from agencies, BUT the cards I hand out are agency cards with my name on there, so the repeat work comes back to me via the agency.

and stuck it

Um, don't you mean Male to Male!!!! They have stick out things and not holes.
D'OH well if I don't know the difference between a female & a male there is no hope LOL! Yes you are right M-M!
-
Strange - If your refering to the "Report Offensive" yellow bar at the top, its still there, and there are no plans to remove it either.
I dont think it causes any harm at all - but if you could PM me your concerns and why it makes surfing a misery - ill look into them.
Regards

:wall: Ooops, I got it, it's moved to the very top. I have no problems surfing here at home, but at work it's a different story, I'll let you know if it's still a pain in the butt at work.

Sorry I can't help, but a point to note is that female to female bulgin leads should never be used - they present an unacceptable risk of shock. I know they used to be commonplace, but since the intro of the male there is no reason to use one. I'm sure they would probably fail the pat test - Mikee??
-
It's cool. Thank goodness you decided to remove that irritating resource hog of a yellow report a whatever it was thing. Don't allow it back, it made surfing DJU an absolute misery.

I've heard one of these, if I remember right (it was a few yeas ago), it's an Italian built active speaker system with 2 little speakers and a sub (a bit like the HK one), and I would think for the small crowd size you have they would be OK.
-
Why do they have no licensed door staff?
-
Least favorite song this year has to be Leonna Lewis - Blledin' love - bleedin' rubbish IMO
So much good new music to chose from, possibly something like Axwell - Found U, but the High Contrast version which is starting to emerge now.

Yeah of course, the tempo's important if it's that sort of venue or night, I think its less important at a party event really. And there's no saying I've necessarily got the 12 inch version of the next song I want to play (they dont always release 'em!!) and so dont have the luxury of a 30 sec intro. (Seamless loops are hard on an ancient Cloud mixer and SL1210's!!).
And sometimes, esp. on say a 6 hour set, the punters will get bored of the same tempo all night and occasionally enjoy the contrast..so long as its not from hard house to RnB in one jump!
Yeah, I'm still young enough (just) to go clubbing on a Saturday night and do enjoy getting into a sweat on the floor for a half-hour or so continuous mix, the point I'm making is that brilliant mixing is no excuse for poor programming. The best big-name DJ's we all know can mix all night with a variety of tempos, bring it in slowly, building up, taking it down etc as the night progresses, fitting in requests, stopping to cut the cake or announcing the buffet....
:hide:
Spot on, the music choice is completely key to what you do on each night.
