  1. I have just secured my very own show currently web castingon ICR~FM who look likely to acquire a FM licenced by the end of the year. I shall be starting this Friday 14th October which will be weekly from 4.30 - 6.30pm called Past, Present and Future... I am focused in providing and mixing various musical genres ranging from the sounds of funky jazz, latin and soul combined with modern house and dance rhythms... Please feel free to listen on www.icrfm.co.uk Thank you for reading this posting and keep happy but most importantly remain fun~ky... Best Regards from Barry
  2. You may find the following links useful and a little bit cheaper...for the latest Ministry of Sound double CD. Play.com (UK) http://www.play.com Price: £12.99 Delivered ------------------------------------ http://www7.cd-wow.com Price: £12.99 Delivered ------------------------------------ Hed Kandi http://www.hedkandi.com Brgds Barry
  3. I am totally focused in mixing as I specialise in playing quality dance and chill out music and leave weddings/birthday/anniversaries to the many very capable members in this forum... Using Denon DN-S5000 I do use the loop and the many features offered for example panning, echo etc... Using jingles can be effective but they can also go down like a lead balloon if badly queued or inappropriately utilised particularly if used whilst in a mobile set-up… Hope that helps for what it’s worth, back to mixing, practise makes perfect providing you’re doing it correctly… It’s bliss having a
  4. Scccccccccchhhhhhh don't tell anyone BUT DJ~hi-yer has also subscribed... Best Regards Cristina and Barry
  5. Well today saw the last two remaining containers arrive out of storage from Pickfords... It has been an arduous 9 months of renovating our little ole cottage located somewhere in Suffolk with another 2/3/4 maybe until 95% is due to be completed and allowing us to return to normality and quality of life... We have in between our busy days of renovating placed some efforts in compiling a few pages on our website and would welcome constructive feedback please... www.bomojo.com/djhiyer.htm Feel free to mail us your thoughts at hi-yer@bomojo.com The Tired and Dusty Renovators
  6. Erm...as he run's and dives under the bed to avoid the flack !!! Although MJ has released extremely good toe tapping tracks we just wanted to say if we are allowed and promise you won't shout back at us please... There is heaps of toe tapping, hip swinging, moovin~groovin music around and currently some fantastic tunes about... For example... 2ND Shift FT. DIZ - Latin Boogie Perhaps because we specialise in dance and chill out music then you may understand that we do not play MJ music and that's not because we think he is guilty or not... We are certainly not guilty in not pl
  7. Just to explain very simply... BoMoJo is moi-Barry's original nickname and thus we own the domain BoMoJo. Apologies for the confusion, how the nickname BoMoJo was born is a long story and best kept when one day we all meet and then I will be happy to explain further... Otherwise in the world of DJ and music I use the name DJ-hi-yer... Clear as mud or am I now getting confused, gone to hide under the bed !!!
  8. Is it really about how many blobs one covers or is it simply the fact should the agreement be acceptable for all concerned, then we would attend and play across the UK... But being completely sensible and reasonable, understanding that there are many competent Mobile/DJ's of all ages, experienced with good sound, lighting and expanse of music catering for a variety of event's, venues and occasions then we currently cover area 10 and willing to extend in to 7, 9 and 12. Recently we travelled over to Walcott Hall in area 8 for a very special occasion which proved to be extremely successful
  9. Just popped in to say... "hi-yer".... Eight months of manic renovation with another 2/3~4 months before we are 95% complete BUT enough of that... You may all ready be aware but for those who are not Martin have launched the DC3 with accessory oil wheel. Now we appreciate that there are others on the market and casting our earlier experiences back many years ago to Optikintics we can honestly say this latest offering from Martin is excellent. We have used ours now a couple of times and are delighted with it... No prizes for guessing who the oil wheel manufacture is !!! We
  10. Would not be without our Mackie SRM 450 But that's only our opinion... Ho Hum...back to renovating our little ole cottage somewhere in Suffolk... Warmest Regards Cristina and Barry
  11. Just popped in to say "hi-yer" I also use a pair of Mackie SRM 450's coupled with an Behringer EQ and it's musik to one's ears... Thumbs up, wonderful design, crisp and pleasing to the eye, one product that many other manufactors are doing best to compete with but to date short of the margin that MACKIE have achieved... Health and Happiness for the festive season and all the very best for 2005 Warmest Regards Barry aka DJ~hi-yer
