  5. QUOTE (NJD @ Dec 20 2005, 10:45 PM) QUOTE would it be possibe to buy four gobo wheels all the same shade? I seem to have lots of different shedes of blue and red. We've been building the Datamoon for 12 years now. In that time it's been manufactured in 3 different factories, and our original dichroic filter supplier has gone out of business. You can buy replacement filters at 96p+VAT each. Postage and packing on spare parts orders is £3.50+VAT. If you want to send your gobo plates back, we won't charge for fitting the new filters. I'll weigh a British Datamoon, an Indian one, and
  6. Mr NJD, How can the new Datamoon be lighter, the hanging bracket bends like a banana? Another gripe with the new datamoon is that the bracket won't fold flat, and one more thing, would it be possibe to buy four gobo wheels all the same shade? I seem to have lots of different shedes of blue and red. Still a great workhorse, I am very happy with them. Thanks Darren
  7. I use JBL eon1500s they're cheap, they look the part, they are light (you can carry 2 at a time) oh, they sound ok too, you can pic up a pair for about £400 from places like turnkey. I run them off an ep2500.
  8. Very nice Jim, but I want something rack mount, would this do the trick, http://www.kam.co.uk/products/prorackmixers/prod3.htm Any other suggestions?
  9. I use TagScanner, a freebee from download.com does the job, and can create listings also! Darren
  10. QUOTE (Jimbo55 @ Dec 1 2005, 08:04 AM) A mixer with efx is needed 4 mike channels with 16 efx starts at about £49 Where From Jimbo??
  11. DJGAVT, I am in the MK area too, Drop me a line Darren@cheesydisco.com
  12. you can get the KAM twin rack thing in two different sets of frequencies! I would order a set with the other frequency, shop around, probably get them for £80
  13. Does anyone have a sample of an equipment hire contract? Thanks Darren
  14. Just bought some stuff, 30 disks + player £275 I want to rent to other djs in the new year, I am in the Milton Keynes area! Sorry don't know where you are! The deal came from http://www.sunflykaraoke.co.uk/ hot hits pack, + 70s 80s 90s. + a couple more to make up the numbers
  15. I would not give them a refund if I found other work, they are car salesmen! http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/tongue.gif I had a cancelation for the third december also, no contract, no deposit, no money! But the reason the lady cancelled was because her husband had a hart attack, she did offer me some money but I refused, at the moment I do not need the money so no problem, in the new year however, I will be doing it for a living so will be issueing contracts and taking deposits, My question is, how much do you take as a deposit? or should I say booking fee?
