  1. As long as there are weddings there will be a demand for mobile discos.
  2. Yephttp://planetsmilies.net/vicious-smiley-1821.gif
  3. That is now correct, as the Dangerman Sessions was a collection of covers.
  4. You might want to check our source It's not their first new album in 10 years, the Dangermen Sessions came out in 2005, making it their first new album in 3 years. & baggy stars???? Wouldn't that make them something like the Stone Roses of Inspiral Carpets? I can see where they're going with that though, an attempted (failed) reference to Baggy Trousers, but the wording makes them seem like a completely different genre. It's old news anyway, It's been advertised on their myspace page for weeks. The Plan is to play the album in full (in album running order) then finish wi
  5. Not at all, I have a motorcycle in my garage, at the moment I choose not to ride it. I also have a laptop which I take to gigs, I choose not to play music from it. At last, the voice of reason
  6. I wonder how many would ask for that if they realised it was about a junkie?
  7. As does Can U dig it by PWEI
  8. Crazy horses is a classic. Nuff said.
  9. We request a link back, it's not a condition of having a link to your site. There's a big difference.
  10. I don't have a link from here to our site. I won't be dictated to & believe in a "forced" link back is unethical.
  11. Somebody did it on that guilty pleasures show last week (can't remember who it was& I've taped over it now) But possibly what is causing the confusion?

    Leona Lewis

Isn't it for charideeeeeee? Has anyone got the whole album? Is there anything on there that's up tempo enough to actually dance to?
  13. Backup mainly, but I have always worked with 4 decks since I went over to CDs (one playing, two cued & waiting & one for faffing about with) & the habit stuck. Started up as just backup & one gig I thought there here, I might as well use them & I've been doing it ever since. Ouch! One thing I've never left in the van or trailer (when used) is my music. That always goes back indoors. Most of the replacements have arrived the rest should be with me tomorrow morning.
  14. ********OFF TOPIC REPLY WARNING********** http://planetsmilies.net/not-tagged-smiley-16019.gif Not registered officially, but could qualify if I wanted. Both my shins are twisted & push my ankles out of alignment. This means I have weak legs, that sometimes give out (although I can feel it coming on & avoid any mishaps). http://planetsmilies.net/ill-violated-dead-smiley-5387.gif I am a member of NABD (I DJ all the London "chapter" events) you don't have to be disabled to join. 15. You really wouldn't want to see my photo everytime I post Nik http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/738/acemecreatureee0.jpg I'm in the baseball cap.
  16. Nobody would've known the van would've been loaded that night. I think ti was just somebody who looked in saw a large mass in the back & thought they'd try their luck later
  17. Says it all. Why worry, it's hardly as if they're being used for gain. I'd sooner look at Dangermouse etc than photos of kit & / or DJs (no offence intended to either of the other posters in this thread) As for the Prism logo, that's the name of the company. They can hardly have a problem with you using a picture of one, nevermind how similar it is.
  18. It's not actully that much to physically move.3 3 flightcases, 4 speakers, a smallish light, a toolbox & 2 bags. Takes about 3 mins to unload into the garage (if only I had) so I can't imagine that it would take too long to shove into a van. If I hadn't been rearranging my garage / workshop it would all have been in there.
  19. Thanks guys As Robbie said, Barnet (specifically New Barnet) Kit situation in hand, we have several rigs & should have a new HD2500 (the only thing that only I use, both units stolen) on Thursday

  21. It would have to be the most petty minded copyright lawyer to go after someone for use of a copyrighted image on a forum avatar. That said I wouldn't advise anyone to use a Disney character. They'll sue anyone.
  22. Oddly enough, Friday morning I had Dave Clark Five - "Catch us if you can" stuck in my head I found out later in the day their singer had died. I have since been thinking of the cheeky girls, crazy frog & cascada
  23. Boston Tea Party was on TOTP2 yesterday. Does anyone else think Alex & Bon Scott sounded similar?
