Oh what a great night in Potters Bar 60th surprise birthday party. Lots of Motown, some 60's and 70's The lady arrived and was truly surprised on arrival and the initial shock on her face was a great picture. The family where very pleased and impressed. Got out some great tracks that I have not played for a long time. We working with a sound limiter which was set on the bass so not to bad, I found I had to sort my mic sound out which took the bass strength out my voice a little, but it did stop the red light coming straight on. Very busy weekend for us. Friday Golden Palace. Saturday Plympton wedding for Mr Harris (Adds) Sunday S.E.D.A. meeting Monday back to work for a rest lol. Have a good weekend all. Kids in America at GP's no problem and Saturday night .

Great Night Saturday night in hotel in Kinston charity night for a primary school all dressed up in 1920's style. Late start for us as normal with hotels meal runs late should have started at 9pm started at 10pm midnight sharp finish. One woman asked for the Charleston which we played then she wanted it again and again but played it again at the end just to shut her up. All happy and thanked us at the end. Watched the Grand Prix today then I get a call out to Brighton just to finish off the weekend hey ho. Brian great tune Mr Blue Sky played last week at the skittle

Well as Brain said A big weekend for me. Yup the Big day is nearly here. 3 day's to go till our wedding day. 00.05am Friday 13th I get a call out in London not impressed but went out to it, back home by 5am back out to the unit and worked till 2pm on the unit, got a couple of hours sleep, before the disco weekend starts. Friday at the golden Palace an ok night Dance floor died at one point when the manager insisted I played some slow stuff requests they wanted and cleared the floor completely, Then we got them back so a not bad night. I keep buying this set, as I have since it started. I buy the singles as they come out, then I take out the single so I don't have to carry them about and use the the one cd. Have to say agree I am with Gary with regards to disc 2 it is pants, and I have written and told them so. £16 is a lot of money for second rate tunes, that have already been marketed, played and after a few months not used again. until you get a request out of the blue for it. Disk 1 I thought was very good. and very useful. Just my thoughts

Very busy weekend for us. Friday Night Stag and hen parties for us both. Saturday got called out someone decided to set fire to one of my toilets, then I had to set up a for a gig in Shepperton which was upstairs which I knew. Good crowd but not the true dancy type just wanted to listern. out of 50ish people had about half dancing all night, 6pm till 11-30 covered a lot of tunes. lots of cards out and thoughly thanked at the end. Hard work though. Sunday up early for the Grand Prix good race, then off to Brighton another call out, rush back to Egham pick up Ali and son Adam

We had these people on the the other day. Found it strange that they say they vet all companies etc. But if I wanted to take this advantage of them today I had to part with money by 5 pm that day. I took advice and was told they are not interested in what I was doing etc they would ask for more money etc, So I did not take them up on their offer, have to say I think that was good advise. I'm one of the lucky ones told the company that my little van was too small now for the disco so they got me a bigger one now I have a Fiat Scudo It's great for me, at present lol.

Like the others I always put this at the end of a set or to change into background music for the buffet etc.

Guy's I have put this on here before. I have been using Access storage for the last 6 months or so. 24 hour access your own key, your own entry number some there 7 day a week 9 till 4. Costs me £84 per month I have a small unit ground floor near the doorway so I am loaded within about 20 mins it's only 20 mins away from home. Hope this helps that includes insurance as well. Have so to say I am well chuffed You can get it cheaper if you have a credit card and tell them that you want it for than 6 months. Pete

80th. Birthday Party last night. A little disorganized, I set up in the morning as I know the caretaker there. Turned up at 6pm just to make sure all was well it was no hicks. The people started turning up at about 7ish to set the place up guests stared turning up at about 8. But the people who organised it where not there and I was asked just to play background music, the big band stuff till the speeches which was after the buffet. The dancing was supposed to start about 9 ish ( no chance) Asked people to help themselves to the buffet at about 8-45 no one m
