Last weekend my Numark CD Mix2 decided to commit suicide at the start of a gig but that didn't prove too much of a problem, as I mainly use my laptop and most CD songs are on there anyway. But my reason for posting on here is I am thinking of buying a pair of Numark NDX400 Mp3/Cd players and was wondering whether anyone had any views on these before I shell out my hard-earned dosh. Thanks in advance peeps.

DJ Foureyes replied to ChrisPeacock's topic in Marketing & Business Matters
That is true for the freebies but I think for the cost of around £10 you can just have the plain cards. Jerry -

The venue was a up-market pub in Wandsworth, easy access, friendly staff and 80s/90s themed fancy dress party. There were a number of interesting costumes, including an Indianna Jones, John McEnroe and a Debbie Harry lookalike (hubba hubba!) The only down side was I was trapped in a corner for 6 hours because of the sheer number of punters and my legs were crossed for the last 2 hours! Everyone was up for a good time and I had a few hand shakes and a couple of pecks on the cheek at midnight! The management were happy and I got two (hopefully) bookings out of it.

Last night was not enjoyable for me. I had a wedding (which was booked last minute by another DJ) and the original start time was supposed to be 7PM. I got there at 5-30 and was told that I couldn't set up in the hall as they hadn't even started eating yet. I eventually was able to bring in my stuff at 8-40 and was asked how long it would take to set up. I said it normally takes up to an hour but I would be as quick as I can. At 9-05 I was asked how much longer and I said maybe another 20 minutes if I didn't put all my lights up. At 9-15 they turned off the lights at my end of the hall (suppos

Thanks peeps for your contributions, BUT........... can one person put up the 3M truss easily enough? Would I need to lay it on the floor to join it together and then stand it up or would I be able to put both sides together and then join them in the middle, on my own?
