  1. I got a Scottish woman I used to work with to put out a call for a Mr P Nurse. It wasn't until after the third call that she realized. :bouncy:
  2. There's a "Now-Decades" too.

Have a listen to Edwin Starr vs Sylvester on one of the mastermixes. I think it's fandabbydozzy
  5. Might be worth a free basic listing though http://www.yelldirect.com/freelisting/home.html
  6. Tis the law of the sod. I've not played it for months, then low & behold I read this & it gets requested tonight. I had quite a few requests mind & the only one I didn't have (I'm very proud of it too) was Skootch (sp).
  7. I was rather looking forward to buying one of those, but I don't do heavy. Thanks for the input everyone
  8. I was thinking more along the lines of the screen in the middle plus something either side. @Marky Can you elaborate a bit on the big NO?
  9. Does anyone know where I can buy an infinity screen? I've only found one web site & they're knocking them out at £200+. Are they worth the money?
  10. I will survive by Gloria Gaynor
  11. The council sent a man round to a local pub where I play sometimes to check the sound limit. He was totally clueless (no meter or anything) he had the sound turned up then went outside & pressed his ear to a window .If it was too loud he made a hand sign to the barman to turn it down.Obviously when he'd gone they just reset it.
  12. I had one two weeks ago where a cousin of the groom had a punch up firstly with the best man then an hour or so later he started on the groom's father. Luckily the newly weds had sensed the bad atmosphere & gone before it kicked off. Early finish for me too....which was nice.
  13. Does anyone know what the recommended db limit is for say a village hall before the limiter lights come on? I was doing a 40th last week & "Mr Shoutybloke" was a good 20 feet away from the mic & his voice alone was lighting it up. It totally ruined the night for me & gave me a crick in the neck for constantly looking up at the flaming thing. :lil devil:
  14. Well you're right about the long wait. My application went in on August 26th & I received all the paperwork yesterday.
  15. How about Edwin Starr Vs Sylvester http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/goodjob.gif
