  1. Oh well that's okay then, he'd been drinking, explains it all. That's a perfectly good reason to head butt somebody, I'd let him off!!! How that bugs me, the 'drinking defence'! Thing is, it doesn't say Dunn even knew the woman!
  2. Personally, I find them too big for smaller venues, i.e. pubs and small halls, which are 90% plus of what I do! Hence why I have two for sale!
  3. I use a roll you can get from B & Q, it's about £7 or £10, it's black, approx an inch wide and you cut it to the length you require. It's brilliant stuff
  4. I wonder if it would work in a pub, where say they have a sound limiter. Gone straight away are complaints from neighbours!
  5. Welcome, I admire your commitment ... 23500 tracks @ 79 pence per track = £18,565! Wow, in just 3 years!
  6. Grease, it's the only one I EVER play, I don't like them.
  7. My pleasure  So what do you set up on, table, deck stand? My rig is small I've always thought, it normally takes me about 50 minutes to set up from unloading from the car to turning on the power and it is as follows ... 1 x Giraffe deck stand with crossbar 1 x Multi coloured star cloth 1 x Kam laser - crossbar mounted 1 x Moonstar laser - crossbar mounted 2 x Martin SCX500 - crossbar mounted 2 x Gemini moving heads - floor mounted 2 x Par cans - floor mounted on 'drum mic stands' 1 x Martin Freekie controller 1 x Smoke machine (where allowed) 1 x Bose L

  9. One off the top of my head ... Substitute by Clout.
  10. What about this little beaut Steve? Bose Compact
  11. Thanks but I don't want to fork out for a mixer just now http://planetsmilies.net/music-smiley-1306.gif Thing is, is it any good, does it sound like you've just sucked a helium balloon dry!?
  12. Just wondering if anybody knows if there is a sound effect available that make's you sound as though you've just sucked in some helium!
  13. Just tried it and it works fine http://planetsmilies.net/confused-smiley-17424.gif http://www.absolutemusic.co.uk/shop/view_p...duct=ledledj103
  14. If you are looking at colour washing a larger area then I would suggest having a look at one of these. http://www.absolutemusic.co.uk/shop/view_p...duct=ledledj103 Rich (Big Ben) and I had one demo'd. We placed it on the floor, standing just a few feet from it, it was far too bright, blinding nearly, quite off putting. However we then mounted it on a tripod about six feet in the air and it looked like a different light. Rich paced out to the far wall in the room and if memory serves me it was about 40 to 50 feet away. Well it really light up the back wall and surprised th
  15. Blimey Rich and I thought you had some taste and class! http://planetsmilies.net/sport-soccer-smiley-24.gif http://planetsmilies.net/sport-smiley-7881.gif Still I suppose you do have a slim chance against Chelsea to do this .................... http://planetsmilies.net/sport-smiley-5569.gif
  16. Steve knows, the mighty Scousers!
  17. Steve, it's a piece of cake ...... once you know how! As Rich says you need Ots studio, open it up, click on File (top left) then a drag down window opens, click on import and another menu opens. Click on 'Ots/wave/Mpeg files and it will ask you what you want imported. Simply locate the mp3's, select all and then click on 'import files'. I've done up to about 100 at a time. All depends on how you're constructing your Ots library. Any questions please pm me and we can have a chat and I can walk you through it. I've done thousands of them. P.S. We'll show the Mancs how to do
  18. Do you know, that's what I thought http://planetsmilies.net/not-tagged-smiley-10097.gif
  19. That's interesting because a couple of weeks ago I was asked to stop using mine as there were a couple of people who had breathing problems.
  20. 2 x http://lindal-in-furness.co.uk/MinersLamps/MinersLamp.jpg I use coloured scented candles but as yet no idea how to dmx them.http://planetsmilies.net/sad-smiley-364.gif
  21. As above plus I would add one of Ots biggest features is the search facility. You can have a total of 126 genres, also tracks can be assigned to more than one genre. You assign a release date and you can rate a track out of ten. So as an example for a search you could ... 1980s & Rock & 125 - 135 bpm & rating over 8 . This will give you all Rock tracks in the 1980s with bpms between 125 & 135 with a rating of 8 and above. Now I call that pretty neat!
  22. Rich, I'm having a look at this one Thursday or Friday ... http://www.absolutemusic.co.uk/shop/view_p...LEDJ&page=1 Looks interesting, there's a vid on you tube, only 30 seconds or so but looks impressive.
  23. I use Tag & Rename, it costs but it is really good and simple to pick up. You can get a free trial to evaluate.
  24. You can without doubt create a play list with Traktor, I have, just this second done one for my quiz tonight.
  25. I did say I was about 30 minutes away but you've not said what it's about. Is it a gig you want covering or somebody who has knowledge of a venue, or a venue you would like checking out?
