i think you need to have a sit down with the organisers and define some clear boundaries of what you are willing and not willing to do for the club,it's one thing doing a freebie for the kids clubs but a 7 hr gig on nye for free is another imo. maybe offer a few freebies and give discounts for other events (thats what you have to decide,make sure you know what you want and what you are willing to give, before approaching them)

why are you playing for 7 hours on nye and not getting a penny, the pli thing shouldn't come into it, it's only £69 with dj@ membership no excuse for anyone not to have it.but 7 hr gig on any night without getting paid is unbelieveable how or why did you get talked into that

always a pleasure to be of hinderance,it was quite funny the best man missing his que for the first dance,seeing you with your finger poised waiting.(i did think they should of left the announcing to a professional but it would of been rude me grabing the mic and doing it for you :scared: ) ,i only came to watch you play ymca,music man etc and you didnt get them in but you did play shangalang. to be honest the evening went far better than we expected on arrival and would of been better if they didn't stop it when they did to do the lanterns when they did but all that was beyond your control .
