Ive been Djing for about 1 year now. A lad in my college played a set with Judge Jules the other night, and im a bit *'d off that considering i am almost as good as this lad...i have NO gigs. How am i supposed to get into it, ive tried approaching club manager's but they wont even speak to me. Do you guys know of any ways of getting a residency at a club & do you know any club owners who are looking for *cheap* but good DJ's. I propably sound abit desperate, im just bored of sitting here with no gigs rather than playing out, one of you might be able to help so its worth a t

Hi all ... I currently DJ every thursday night at a local bar. I play a 3 Hour set, but currently it is "voluntary"... The manager and i discussed this when i joined, he said he would pay me after a while... Its been 4 weeks... and i just wondered what i should be charging if anything...? 3 Hours is alot if you take into consideration travel times/cost, Plus new music to play each week... Thoughts please... Thanks

Ive just bought a pair of HD25's tonight .....can you just tell me what cable is on it.. In my mixer..goes that heaphone plug..about a centimetre wide... is it the same plug on the end of the HD25's cable, or do they have some ******** jacklead/phono at the end??
