Checking the dimensions, I was quite surprised! The larger exterior diameter is 272 ft., interior 219 ft.; the smaller exterior 238 ft., interior 185 ft. Taken from Victorian Buildings. Hasn't ever happened to me, although I have friends who do this regularly. If it started happening to me, then I would insert an extra line into my terms and conditions (in caps). Still, people being what they are, the hosts/guests would still be looking to me if the worst happened, and to be honest I'm not sure how I'd deal with that......purely because I'd be feeling just as annoyed and irritated as thay would (as well as embarassed)

I know this wasn't directed at me, but why the question mark?????????? For a full sound in a large arena (and why not the Albert Hall?) then a pair of subs and a couple of mid/highs just won't cut it.....will they?

As one or two of you (McCardle) have noticed, I am no fan of Duffy. I think the Coke ad proves my point - I find her voice painful to listen to (especially in this ad), I find her NOT to be particularly attractive to look at (although my 14/5 yo says different), and I find her demeanour in live situations offensive......she always appears to be stoned or drunk (or both) :rant:

Just noticed the previous poster mentioned EV..... I would agree with this...BUT....I was recently in the main dealer for EV and asked for a quote on a set up (Tour X)! Be careful, because the net prices on imported goods (and I think you know where I'm going) gets higher and higher each day. On doing further checking I noticed that there are some importers/dealers who sell out their stock at the price paid etc. Others revalue their purchase price according to the state (and what a state) of the pound! Just a gentle warning!

I can't speak for others on the forum, but I would oppose that 100%! Give me good XLR connectors anyday to Speakon. I don't find them stable enough!
