Not at all - Im not going to go into the whole smoking debate again as weve all been through it. All im saying is - Glad people in the uk with pubs have seen a way round it - And im also glad greece will never introduce such a stupid law.....

We havent got the smoking ban in Zakynthos, But i speak to alot of people from the Uk int he pub and the beach bar - and 90% of them say the same - Once its 11pm and the doors are shut out come the ashtrays. Most pubs are apparently following suit. One guy informed me of a loophole in the law - And his local has now changed from a public house to a "house" Licence for serving beer still in place and grantd by the local council. Invite only and disclaimer signed - and beer on tap which is paid for by donation - ( of which theres a minimum) He has live entertainm

Im not on the "circuit" anymore - but thought id share a few bits with ya. Friday night - Amazing - Okey Dokey Karaoke - Started at 10pm and by 10:30 i had 30 tickets in - Really good crowd and such a good laugh - Finished at 4am . Saturday was 80's themed disco night - Bwoody Amaing! - People took the time to visit the fancy dress shop ( a friend of mine owns it ) and purchased all the gear - another late night - finished at 5am Sunday - Ladies Nite ( No strippers ) but had a decent crowd in . Sunday is the mainchange over day on the island - so had time to chat to some really

I dont advertise anymore - but still get phone calls. I received a call the other week on a friday night at 8 pm greek time so 6pm there in the uk - the dj hadn't turned up - i gave her a few phone numbers and she rangon sunday to say it all got sorted and to thank me for helping - even though i was 1500 miles away - my service was amazing lol. Perhaps i should branch out ............................. :shrug:

When i was living in the UK i used the cannons quite often I used to get mine from Chameleon Audio in Coalville NW Leicestershire Quick google search brings there details up - i think they would still supply them. Ive never had any problems with staining or anything - and no vue has ever shown any problem towards using them. In Greece now - we use them on selected nights - dirt cheap out here - I pay 13 euro for a box of 24.

I use the classic cuts and jock in the box as a bible in the pub - Some good tracks in there to be played - a few obscure ones in the classic cuts party - but always seem to go down well.

I set to 92, as after another discussion on a thread most people went to 92. Cant notice any clipping or problems.

Hi All, Just a quick question, Recently i mp3 gained all my mp3's (set to 92) and noticed a big difference, and happy with that. But, im just wondering if i can mp3gain the karaoke mp3's aswell? Obviously while in transfer the levels are all over the place. If i mp3 gain the karaoke mp3's would it have an adverse effects? besides the vloume level. Basically i dont want to do it and then balls the karaoke tracks up. If it would be ok, would 92db be ok? or should i set them lower or higher??? ?????

For gigs on the island where its just a take me laptop job - i use me moped For other gigs - i use the car Mostly use the moped though - Last week it got a tarting up job and got labelled with hed kandi logos and so forth. Next week its going to be the Lamber and butler mobile!
