Mp3 gain is great for Normalising the Volume on Mp3 files, Anyone know of any software (preferably free) that will normalise the vol on WMA files ? THANKS Russ

So it looks if SAM is finally getting some deserved recognision, I have happily used OTSDJ for a few years, but have also messed about with SAM and done quite a few gigs with it and its an excellent piece of software. Can configure it to be as good as OTS but most importantly this bit of software is rock solid !!

So how good are the Martin T Rex i know they are not dmx but how good is the effect ?

Have to disagree about Martins optics being better. The optics on the ACME range are fantastic. You only have to look at the Dynamo scans to see this, there only 100 watt effects but as bright as most or even brighter than some 250 watt effects !

Agree there Ed, only used Disco studio for picture purposes. I agree i would not buy anything from them after the horror stories, i see your point about the mackie's but i was looking toward the best buy for vokf's limited budget. Hence my suggestion

Agree the shure's are a better mic BUT you aint gonna get 3 for £30

vokf Take a look at the links i have provided, if you are on a budget and cant afford tops & bins then any speaker with a 12inch driver is no good on its own. A 12 inch is great when linked with a bass bin but lacking on its own a 15 driver on its own will give you a much fuller sound Have a look at the ACTIVE /POWERED speakers in the links, therefore you wouldnt need an amp and everything is balanced. Hope you have considered a very important point. You are considering using 4 cabs all of which are 4ohm impedance. If you are aiming to run 4 speakers (Bin & top each side linked parrallel) off ONE amp this will give you a 2 ohm load NOT GOOD If you only have one power amp and going to run 4 speakers as mentioned above then you would be better off getting 4 x 8ohm speakers giving you a total of 4 ohms per channel ...... Much better, less heat etc = longer life, less damage.......... Blah Blah Blah OOOPS.... read your post again Didnt realise you were only using one set.
