Thanks Cheezy. I may look at making a slightly longer bracket. Cheers, Simon

Thanks for the advice and for sharing your knowledge. Do you think adding one of these to two Gemini GK400's would ake any difference or should I save my money. I won't have room in the car or a budget for 2 of them. Cheers, Simon

How about this one http://www.e-av.co.uk/info.php?id=2038 The EV SB122 - it is tiny! If it is any good it will solve my problem with not having enough room in the car! Cheers, Simon

Hi All - after some advice. I have just received 2 shiny Datamoons, Flight case and controller. I've unpacked everything and found the bracket was covering the lens..... no problem so far. However, when I unscrewed partially and tried moving the bracket to the top of the light the bracket will not pass the front edge of the light!?! I had to undo the bracker screw fully (resulting in the bolt inside the casing rattling around inside, cover off, etc) To cut a long story short I now have the bracket inplace, however I would like to transport the lights with the bracket coveri

It certainly appears that I was barking up the right treee with the DB technologu subs. Just need to find a nice price now........ Thanks for all the advice again.

Okay - I have had a couple fo near purchases with a Bass bin. I did actually order one from Thomann but unfortunately they could not fulfil the order, I think someone nipped in before me ;o( So, just before I click 'add to basket'I wanted an opinion on the best Bass binn you can buy for up to £300 (for one) I will be using it with 2 x Gemini GX400's and have two amps to play with - a Gemini GXA1600 or/and a Crown 402. I do apologise for almost repeating an earlier question, but this time I am after your opinion on the best bass bin to purchase to fit in nicely with what I have.

I am glad my 'dumbass' question has provoked so much interesting discussion. I would like to confess I now have no idea whether to transport my speakers upright or on their backs!?! Although I do know a lot more about speakers now and am able to make an informed decision. :joe:

Many thanks Tony and Eddie. I couldn't ask for a better explaination. I just can't wait to get it now and try it out. Simon

Thanks Eddie - I was getting over keen so posted on the other thred without giving you a fair chance on this thread. Sorry, but always, many thanks for the advice (times two ) I have bought the 41.15 and now I there is one for sale on here.....oh well. I would love another but I don;t think my bank balance or space in the car will allow.

Thanks all for sharing. Ironically the only equipment I do carry on it's side at the moment are the speakers......aaaargh! I will not be doing that in future, but rather turning my amps on their sides and squeezing them around other stuff. Everything else can stay upright.............including me! Cheers, Simon

Bought the 41.15. Looking forward to receiving it now and getting it hooked up. Thanks for your advice.

Excellent - thanks. I had a mind block as I run passive speakers and didn't think of the mixer as a direct output! What about a x-over. Do I need to include one of those anywhere? (I don't even know what one does, but have read they are needed on some set ups)

Nice one Ben - I was pretty confident about the Amp but it was the CD player I was more concerned with.

Welcome Adie - only been a member for about a week and everyone is so helpful.

What equipment do you think is safe to travel on it's side? Funny questions I know, but my car would pack a lot better if I could transport CD players and Amps on their side. Thanks for any experience or advice in advance.
