There is a guy like that around these parts, he will turn up for a gig for £40 with his Fair Ground lights!!! A couple of times now i have quoted prices and bascially they have been silly prices - 1 asked if i would price match cause this guy had quoted £65 for a Saturday night - but as you can imagine i declined! What is the point of undercharging for your services? - it is totally beyond me

Hi Guys/Gals Before i start this one is for the more Mature DJ on here!! - not wanting to discriminate!!!!!!! I have this fascination with Studio 54, saw a documentary about 10 years ago about it and been hooked since then, read and heard some compelling articles about this great club. ALso along the same lines the night club scenes in Saturday Night Fever, which leads me to my question, i was born in 1974 so missed the atmosphere these places promote - ie. Saturday Night Fever being fiction, were weekends really this good in Night Clubs and if so why are they not like it now -

i ordered 2 on Wednesday evening - i Googled and they came up at £124 each, i ordered 2 of them and they did them for £245 inc free delivery and they were delivered at 1pm yesterday (Friday) i am well impressed!

Well i have been cancelled at the last minute tonight so been surfing! I am looking to purchase a pair of powered speakers for when i am doing smaller venues - i have been out and about today and seen the Opera Series by DB Technologies. Do any of you guys/girls have any experiences with these - is there something out there more suitable. I only want them for small venues so they will be sitting in the garage probably half of the year so did not really want to spend out on Mackies Any help/advice would be very much appreciated. I had the pleasure of being compere again to an excellant group - they were called Yesteryear who were a Tribute Group covering: Buddy Holly, Billy Fury, Elvis Presley and Eddie Cochrane - they absolutely awesome, 1 guy singing Elvis Presley and Eddie Cochrane and another doing Billy Fury and Buddy Holly, the bass guitarist was good and the drummer absolutely brill. Hi Guys/Girls Can anyone help me please, i brought a set of 4 Martin Robocolors of Ebay, used them on my second set-up on Saturday night, plugged them all into the controller and they were changing colors but no paterns!!!! HI Guys/Girls Just wondered, do many of you buy the Mastermix albums (Released Monthly) I used to subscribe to them but found when they hit the double cd stage and jumped upto £20.00 per issue they started to repeat certain mixes on there and other mixes did not seem to meet the same style of music - hence i have not used them now or purchased for a couple of years. As a WWE fan it is becoming an increasing factor - guys have been using steroids for many years but now with the wrestlers/athletes they are putting through there is need for more competition with the guys.
