Hi My name is Chris, i have been DJ'ing for over 10 years now and i am new to this site. It was kindly recommended to me by UK Hero, who i had the pleasure of working alongside a Country Rock Group called Rebel Creek. UK Hero was the guy who had the hard task of making sure that all of the sound and lights for the group were spot on - which they were. :joe: Hi there, i hav recently been through the same dilemma, i have swapped my Hisys 2's because of the weight factor and power etc. I have changed to JBL EON's, but brought a new Peavey amp from my local Peavey dealer. Now Peavey are not everyone's cup of tea - one dj saying to me 'they are old mens speakers' which i certainly do not agree with. ANyway back to my point, when i went to pick up my new amp, i was lucky enough to see the new Peavey Scorpion speakers - imported from the USA - from what i can remember they are about 1200 watts per cab - please check on the Peavey website.
