Let's see firts week of June Tues 1st ,kids 7th went well, Tonsk came along to roadie and pinch some ideas from me LOL Wed 2nd 13th birthday , all mad as hatters a good night but lacking in numbers out of 90 invited only 30 turned up ! felt a bit sorry for them but made the most of it. Thurs 3rd a 9th birthday party at a school , very good night lots of cha cha sliding etc Fri 4th Roller disco for 120 kids aged 5 -17 ! Sat 5th 13th birthday , another good night, really posh kids in really posh party frocks ! Sun 6th Colapsed in a big heap

Hi High Fid , everyone is different, the most important thing is to have you mixer / laptop etc at a comfortable working height for you. It would be no good me having Tonsk's set up as you would only se down as far as my nose !! ( I'm a short ass 5`6" ). For my console I sat my mixer on my kitchen table then lifted it up with a pile of books until it was the best height for me. Then just measured it and worked from there. p.s. How are those old lightboxes of mine ? post us a pic would be good to see them re-worked. Also I've just upgraded all my stands anyone want a black goalpost and 2

Dart is really straight forward. It plays you track and you hit the space bar every time you wnt a line of text to start. Then you fo the same with each word after. Why not have a go , you can try a demo from here : http://www.dartpro.com/ Hayd

DART karaoke authur should also do the job for you . Load your mp3 then add a txt file of your lyrics then you can sync them and either use the player or export to cd+g format. If you need any info give me a shout Paul. Hayd

Why not just try ripping at a few different bit rates and see what you think for yourself :-) Personally I rip mine all at 192kbps with High quality on the ripper ( easy mp3 ) but I doubt there's much difference between 160 and 192 in reallity. Hayd

High Fidelity , you will need the real player plug in to view the video or download the avi file and play with media player. Realplayer site: www.real.com and download the FREE Realone player , lots of trick links to try and get you to buy the full version so watch out ! Hayd

Thanks for the input so far, I've corrected the 'to' on the prices page and perhaps I'll have a play around with the fonts. I also need to redo the button graphics as the fonts don't all match and also updated the video. Think I've sorted the untitled document problem also. All comments are much appriciated thanks Hayd

It's all about playing the right track at the right event and at the right time which pretty much somes up being a DJ and .. yep we get it wrong sometimes it's just part of being a DJ. Another little game to add to your adult section :-) Pump it Up You need 3 squishy footpumps ( the sort you use for blowing up li -los ) + 3 long sausage balloons and some tape. Tape the Sausage balloons to the end of each pump. You then need three couples to play ( I sugest getting pi:cense:ed ones ). Get each girl to bend over and hold the balloon end of the pump. Place the squishy end against her bum ( get her partner to do this for obvious reason of getting beaten to a pulp ) . I'm assuming you have PCDJ red. Right click in the left hand column under cd audio 2 and select 'New Group' Type in a group name and click OK Highlight your new group ( left click on it) Then click on the 'edit recordcase' button above it. Another alternative is Real Player format . rm you need to download yourself a copy of real producer to convert to it.Makes all the html code for you to embed it into your webpages as well :-) Hayd

Tried seperate, power sorce ( different ring ) no difference, disconnected the earth from the laptop transformer , instantly killed the noise. I'm sure un-earthing the transformer isn't the safest option but it's a solid lump so I can't see much chance of shock from it. Only Live and neutral go to laptop itself anyway. There is Zero noise now :-) Hayd
