I give a discount for a pub near me because they give me loads of work. But had a call recently asking if i would do a disco for a birthday in a different venue, so i quoted for this and the client said the last you did a party for me 3 months previous you only charged xxx amount, so when i told her that was at a discount price for that pub she tried to book the pub but could not get it. She did pay what i quoted in the end.

I got a quote for velcro type badges but to expensive, paper ones dont last that long as i am using these for promotion so i want them to last as long as possible

Same here, i did a 70's night for women's aid and i did tell them before hand that i would not play any GG. And they totally agreed, one woman also said to me that you never know who is at a function that you might do they may have been abused or know a child that has been.
