when i started over 12 years ago i was stuck on a name to use and i wanted something that was catchy and people would remember. My name is Buster ( that is my real name ) and i am a big lad so i use Big B's Mobile Disco. just thought i would let you know how i got my stage name

my average charge for a wedding is £250.00 but i also send them a 10% discount voucher in an email so it lowers it to £225.00.

new years eve i got a call at around 6:30 pm asking if i was available as someone had let them down i was on my way out to a job. not sure if they got anyone.

I have been asked to a childrens party and they only want me for 2 hours, i do have a standard charge but that is for 4 hours min, would you charge the full standard charge or would you lower it? Cheers

in Febuary i am travelling to cornwall to do a 60's night that is nearly 400 miles away from where i live, the reason is my wife is from cornwall and we are having our blessing there, so when we go in feb we also took a booking for a friend to do a 60's night for her husbands 60th birthday. ( normally we only travel 50 miles for a gig anything further we charge per mile ) how far have you travelled to do a gig Buster :snow:

one of my best tracks is build me up buttercup, and when i have a party with older people than me in i always play it and it fills the floor except 1 time i was doing realy well put on a mixture of 60's 70's and then put build me up buttercup and it went dead, there is 1 thing i never do though i never panic i always wait until the end of the track and put another floor filler on

in the letter and contract i send out to clients it states clearly that we receive £50.00 non refundable deposit (unless the dj cancels) to secure the date, and once at the venue and the dj has set up and is ready to work the client must pay the dj before any performance, and i have to say to date we have never had a non payer. Works well for us. Buster
