  1. Look's okay. Though I think Martin are way over-priced. How can someone justify spending over £1.5K on one Martin moving head 250W discharge? I can get a very very similar looking 250W discharge based moving head for around £500 shipped. You're paying for the name really. Why do people go for Martin? Why not some of the less expensive brands that sell quality gear that will last year's if looked after properly? Mendoza.
  2. I too am interested in buying some RCF speakers, I don't know why a lot of people like them, I havnt heard any in action yet but a lot of people seem to like them. However, my question is, I'm not a lover of active speaker systems so do RCF do passive speakers? Thanks in advance, Mendoza.
  3. Ah right cool, nice ;) I've just seen these on eBay, wow! Mendy.
  4. Yeah, I think a lot of the LED stuff is lacking in the gobo department and I think this will be the next biggest thing brands should seriously consider because those dorts are really boring! Mendy.
  5. It's good to know that LED pro lighting is getting much better now and the LED technology is going from strength to strength. LED lighting is really getting far better now but the ultimate question is, which LED lighting would you consider the best at the moment? I like those 30W LED moving heads by Indigo, they have the white casings and they look the part. Good pricing and the gobos look cool too. I recon that in 1-2 years time, LED lighting will be upto 100-200W single LED but I can't imagine what kind of outlay we'd be looking at. Mendy.
  6. I've got some samples of the custom sweeper jingles I produce but unfortunately, I can't seem to upload the samples in here. If you're interested, please shoot us an email to bluerevolution@virginmedia.com and I'll send you a copy over. Mendy!
  7. The only reason I asked people not to PM is that I wan't people to input their script to show others what the jist is and then for the other folks to download from this post to sample the productions! Sure, I'll upload some stuff later on to give you folks a taster in what I do  Mendoza.
  8. 40 hits and I'm really suprised nobody, well apart from 1 PM'ing me, has posted a request! Please do not PM me with requests as I wan't you to post in the forum so that I can upload the audio in here for all of you to listen. Thanks, Mendoza,
  9. Hi folks, I produce custom sweeper jingles and voiceovers for a lot of mobile discos, nightclubs and radio stations and offer my services worldwide, no job too far away! I've been in the radio industry for a good 5-6 years now and now I'm giving you the chance to grab yourself a new, custom tailored jingles pack you can utilise in your shows. Simply post your script intoto a reply on here and then I'll go into production on your script. I'll give you 1 fully produced sweeper free of charge but will have a 'watermark' over the audio and that if you'd like to send a PayPal donation, t
  10. Nice! What programme do you use to record your singers? How do you configure the mic signal to your recording source? Mendoza.
  11. OK, might be worth opening her up and check for loose connections. I'm presuming you bought the laser from new? And only used it a couple of times so the diode life should have plenty of hours left in it. If push comes to shove, red diodes are really cheap nowerdays. Contact your supplier and find out whether they can fit A red diode for you. Or sell this laser on and get a better laser - an RGB or RGBv one, you'll never look back! Mendoza.
  12. Hi Rob! How long have you been using the laser? Did you buy it from new? Typically, a diode will usually last between 5-10 thousand hours and a diode will often just fade in power after a while and then not work at all. It might be something else causing the problem on your red diode. Could be a loose connection between your red diode and the psu. It could be something else. Have you took the casing off to check the inards? If it's still under warranty, don't take the casing off as this will voide your warranty. Hope this helps :) Mendoza.
  13. Hi there Phil. I spoke to Abstract the other day on the phone and they've said and I quote "we've stopped selling the disco lighting e.g XP5's" etc and now they're aiming for the LED stuff hence the Abstract AVR brand. Maybe you'll get lucky if you pop along to eBay.co.uk where someone might be selling 1. Good luck, Neil.
  14. 2 of which lights? The American DJ 1's or the Mirage 1's? Did you shop around? What was the best deal you could find? Mendoza.
