  8. I have just bought Power CD+G Player Pro, I also use a flat 15pin VGA monitor with all settings correct for secondary monitor in my Laptop display settings. I would like to be able to have one permanent karaoke screen on my monitor and have a kind of track loading system with it showing the time remaining on my laptop, This is so I don’t have to keep dragging and dropping files on to Power CD+G player, cueing up then pressing ALT+enter for it to fill the screen. Any ideas, Help, suggestions on this would be much appreciated.. Thanks, Richard

  13. TOPIC MOVED Hi all, Ive just baught the following gadjet:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VGA-to-TV-Converter-...1713.m153.l1262 I pluged it in to my 15 pin socket on my laptop then got a phono to phono cable and pluged one yellow end to the yellow soket and the new 15pin thing and the other end into my old trusty old TV yellow input on the back but getting nothing on the TV Screen!! 16. If it is any help, The Peavey PR15 range which is what I use also uses the XT14 diaphram in the compression horn. Thanks Rich
  17. Thanks for the advice, Looking at what everyone has put I would be better off buying X2 4pole speakon to speakon cables. Correct???
  18. Does anyone know what the inputs are on these? it says in the discription "Three Neutrik® Speakon® connectors (one bi-amp and two for full-range operation)." In my language I know of Mono Jacks, Speakons, and XLR... any ideas?? Im currantly useing peavey PR's which are Jack inputs. Thanks Richard!!
  19. As above^^ Take it on the chin, Ride the bull by the horns - Just a few good sayings!! Ive always prefer my regular pub spot to private functions because im always garunteed a prase at the end of the night, Clapping, and shouting more!! My advice if you fancy the swich over is to get a regular saturday night spot, You also then get to know the punters and locals!! I love it, As for the children side I would also have a stand in DJ to cover once or so a month just for the plain fact you can there4 spend more time with them! Richard
  20. Yes it is unavoidable I started @ 18 and 7 years on I get the same old--- Land loard says to play 1 more, I say if he says yes to me then fine otherwise no. And for the past year at my new reglar venue I always play Dirty old town for the last song , This tells the landloard last song no matter how long I play over time if I play over time.

  24. Have a look at the KAM KAP1500 mixer, This is what I use!! * 4 Phono input Channels * 3 Mic channels all with seperate reverb controlls * Crossfader (I dont bother with it) * And separate loop for a external effects unit £149.00 Let me know how you go on, http://www.djstore.com/item/kamkap1500.htm?affid=froogle Thanks Richard
  25. Yas as most people have said 4 lights personaly would be ample, I would save all the lights and get 2 more Datamoons!! and invest in a winch T-bar (check with the DJ shop on weight capacities) Also think about investing in some Peavey PR 15's there ideal as there lightwight plastic cabs! Ideal on fule consumption there only 250w 8ohm but do a fantastic job!! Richard
