  2. I used PCDJ Red for first couple of years then tried PCDJ red mobile, Got sick of stuttering, and conflicts with other stuff ie windows word or other ordinary stuff, so tried VDJ havent looked back since. i now realise where PCDJ get their ideas ......VDJ. I am still on V.6 and am currently playing around with V.7, cant see the point of all those decks tho.. unless your a top club DJ in Ibiza or somewhere, whats the point? The average mobile Dj and lets face it we are (aren't we?) doesn't really need more than two decks and maybe a video. Anyway back to original thread, VDJ all the wa
  3. Hi Guys Newbie here (sort of). lol having read most of the forums on here about NJD Datamoons, one big problem a lot of guys seem concerned about is the 'White Strobe Effect' of these lights, Me too! I wasn't concerned about this just didn't like it, I use on average 4 DM's per gig, along with other stuff. Usually 2 on the trussing and two on floor pointing up, looks awsome with a bit of haze. Anyway what I didn't like was when 4 DM's hit the white light, it lights up the room too much, strobe or not, just didn't like the white! The solution is simple, Contact NJD, tel. 01744 745000
  4. Hi Guys, has anyone re-mapped a dac2 yet to work with Virtual DJ 6? If so has anyone got any details? Cheers Goochie
  5. Hi Guys, recently changed from PCDJ 'Red' to 'RED Mobile' to upgrade. Straight away started having probs, had to upgrade PC's memory, change sound card and the thing still plays up, stuttering, stops tracks, heavy distortion(so bad have to shut it down). Having asked around local DJ's, seems every PCDJ piece of software has some sort of problem, they never seem to work 100%. Does anyone else run the new 'Red Mobile' if so how do you find it? All comments welcome please guys.. Cheers Goochie
  6. Hi Guys, have just purchased new 'PCDJ RED Mobile' so far so good, problem is I now need drivers for soundcard 'Maya EX7' (not needed with original PCDJ Red) No matter how I try I cant get new software to find downloaded drivers for sound card. Anyone know how to solve this? Anyone had same probs Cheers Goochie.
  7. many thanks Spoke today with Steve @ PCDJ he recommended 'Tag Sweeper' to remove all pcdj gain add on's, which I think are my problem (set too low) then use 'Tag Doctor' to reset all gain equally. Most people tho seem to recommend 'MP3 Gain' ? i'm looking at this now but seems confusing, anybody got any tips?? Also On Tag sweeper, does anybody know which ID3 tags (3 options on software) Contain the pcdj bpm/gain adjustments that I am trying to remove? Many thanks Goochie. if the distortion is caused by being in the red lights or the last few yellow lights....then just tu
  8. Hey thanks for that BD, didnt realise I could do that. will try at weekend. I did run a CD Player alongsinde PCDJ last weekend and CD was at least 305 louder, its this 'headroom that I desperatly need back. I think PCDJ's bpm/gain scan takes levels of tracks too low, hence having to 'drive amps' too much. Anybody any idea's on this? Such as Re-tagging or normalising outside PCDJ with other software first? My collection seems all over the place, different bit-rates, different recording levels ect. Chheers guys. Goochie
