  1. Those of you with full time jobs and time off, what tasks/upgrades are you doing to your equipment..? Personally, I am setting up my PJDJ setup, putting my kit into a new Protex case and attempting to fix my Martin T-Rex that doesnt work anymore
  2. we were with Eclipse (who are very good) but for an overall Net/Phone/Phone package i couldnt beat Skys Deal. If you are an existing company, phone the line and press the option to cancel your contract and listen to them drop their pants on the prices and deals.
  3. 1 so far, not advertised at all, need to get my setup sorted to PCDJ and then will be pushing hard!
  4. 21st Tonight at a Cricket Club, last one of the year for me (first new years off since I was 18 and looking forward to that!) Havent done any advertising at all this year but planning to push it next year when I have a little more time!
  5. I too am looking at the SRM450s, please let me know how you get on, and I would be looking at a sub also!!
  6. Nice Set Up there, I always use 2 Datamoons and have been waiting for my local store to get me in a 5 pin DMX cable for a while now. But running a lighting program on a PC is something I would be very interested in, I have a spare one - could you PM/Link me to further Information? I DJ'd for a mates GFs 21st on Sat night and it went pretty well, real mix of ages but when her college mates (essex girls) turned up I went into the mix and they were really bouncing, loving it and were really P****d off when the venue turned the lights on come closing!!
  7. get an imageshack account, its free to host images
  8. Looking at a set of Active Speakers to purchase, always known Mackie to be pretty decent but havent had a set before. I am looking at the following... Mackie SR1521Z Active Speaker Mackie SRM450 Active Speaker Want something decent enough to fill a medium sized hall that arent huge and not too heavy to lift, my current speakers are a nuisance! Or any other speakers I should consider for the £700-800 pair Mark? Cheers Liscio
  9. Looking for a pair of Active Speakers in the coming months, My passive Lumps are huge & heavy and the amp is also getting a bit worn. Budget would be around £500-800 I would imagine, can anyone suggest a good place to start? Cheers...
  10. Yes, prices have gone up for both over the past couple of years as we provide a more complete and professional service. As I say about everything, its worth whatever someone will pay for it
  11. I am happy with my prices, for local gigs I have 2 rates, roughly £250 for a normaly night but 25% off mates rates (most of my gigs) I try and find a happy medium that people can afford and my friends dont think I am ripping them off but is still enough to make it worth my while:)
  12. Mine is a Protex and seems pretty spot on so far
  13. Yeah, I put my prices up recently as I have a load more kit now and I dont need the work as much, so can make sure each gig is worth it!
  14. ITs Ne-Yo - Closer for sure

  18. Need a 6pin Lead, everyone seems to try and sell me XLRs Any ideas? Also, can you do anything else with 2/3 datamoons like programs etc? Cheers all
  19. As Per Title. I used to have an AstraVan which was ideal but had to sell it. I now have an Astra Hatch and it all goes in with a bit of planning My brother has a VW Polo and manages to get all the kit in there somehow. Think once I have bought a house I may get a larger Van, my uncle has a Renault Traffic for all his kit!
  20. Sounds lke a spot on idea!
  21. Nor Me, my speakers are pretty hefty so if they managed to push them over I would be quite impressed lol My Giraffe stand though, dont let people near it if I can help it!
  22. Ditto the above, post up what you get and I can definately help with the Rnb/Hip Hop
