Expect me to pay for downloads when they dont even work!!!! been searching for weeks for this one song on multiple download services - then to my surprise i find it on itunes! great me thinks - 79p well spent - until found out the song only works in itunes and on the ipod, and is encrypted so i cant change it to MP3... so i cant use it... so i wasted 79p... and if i had tried to download it the naughty way it would have worked!!! because songs downloaded naughtly aren't encrypted!!! Drum and bass has one of the highest BPM's in my set (174 and above) so usually have to use a bridge song to get up there without loosing the beat. Youtube is a great way for exploring new genres - just type in DnB and look for some of the higher play counts - thats usually what people like to hear! I have already decided i want to be a laptop DJ - seems much cheaper - and i have an external sound card called a "line 6 toneport UXII" with this i can plug it into my laptop and have the master channel going through it and headphones channel coming out of the laptop jack. 5. Well hello there everyone! Im new to the DJ scene - but massively inspired! I am already a instrumental musican and play guitar/keyboard and i sing. Ive been looking at becoming a dj for some time, Im in my last year in college and thought it would be great to DJ some of the bigger parties which will be going down in Dorset and Somerset. I have a bit of kit that could be substituted to DJ use, but i still have so many questions to ask, and this forum seems a very friendly and informative place. Hope to talk to you guys soon! George.
