  1. I really want to learn how to dj using software and a controller and i'm wondering if anyone knows any specific books that focus on this. I have seen "Djing for dummies" and numerous books on how to be a dj, does anyone have any recommendations?
  2. Think this is the controller i'm most interested in, it looks the part and seems to have more than enough features to work with. Was gona go for Hercules MK2 but think it lacks some features like kill switches, loop controls and i've heard bad things about the jog wheels being in an awkward place.
  3. I'm mainly into house and club, things like euphoria, clubber's guide, the annual etc. i avent done any gigs yet, may be doin a house party on 15th september but i would like a proper controller and practice before that.

  5. Hey, I just found this forum and thought this would be the best place to get advice on where to start with DJ-ing. At first I considered USB controllers then upgrade to turntables but I think if I got a decent USB controller to begin with I would stick with that as it seems more cost effective. Since there are experienced people here I was wondering which is best for me. I've been using Virtual DJ and want a controller for it. I've looked at Hercules MK2 and Torq Xponent.
