  1. I take it that even though they are a lot more powerful than the speakers Im using atm they will be safe as long as I dont crank it up stupidly loud? How would I go about it plug in 2 speakers per channel? Im gonna have a search for those suggested amps now. Cheers again. Tom
  2. O forgot to add they according to the websites Ive looked at they are professional speakers designed for mobile DJ use. Cheers. Tom
  3. The 100W are Skytecs and the 200W are Audio Intimidation. As far as I can find they are all rated at 100W RMS. Like I said they wont be getting heavy duty use its more a case of they were free so thats what im using to practice, see if I enjoy it and if I do I haven't spent much so can afford to upgrade to really good quality ones. Cheers for the response :)
  4. Hey there I've spent weeks scouring the internet for answers and this forum seems to be the only place where people know what they are talking about so Im hoping I can get some assistance. I've recently played a couple of house parties on borrowed kit and have really enjoyed myself and have had some offers for some more when uni starts again in a few weeks. I've been donated 2 x 100w speakers with these ratings: # Music power: 100W max. # Impedance: 8 Ohms # Freq response: 60Hz - 18 kHz # SPL @ 1W/1m: 89dB I have also been given 2 x 200w speakers with these ratings: #Music pow
