  1. yeah i have put these on ebay as well.. had loads of looks but no bids yet. if they dont go for what im asking (£900) then ill lower it to 800... I wont drop bellow what i paid for these... must make a profit heh... i will however break even http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif
  2. well it wasnt certain that the kit would be sold after the concert. the school was planning on buying it off me to keep it as a permenant setup but changed there minds. I have no use for it at the moment
  3. This equipment is only 2 weeks old at the most and was purchased for a school concert and now I am selling it on. The lot is in perfect condition, cosmeticaly and operationaly. The kit comes with all DMX leads to link this lot up and get going and also comes with all power cables and mounting brackets/stands. This would be the perfect setup for anyone wishing to get into DMX lighting or for someone to add to there lighting rig. Whats in this setup - ----------------------- This is a full Chauvet DMX setup. This is not a commercial package that you can buy and is made up of seperatly
  4. yeah i just bought it the other day. but i notice that you are still selling them or is this just a page that hasnt been updated? as for the dashed line thing... i was wondering what that was supposed to do http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/tongue.gif looks great without smoke.. have to try it with smoke sometime! whats ur personal opinion on these chris?
  5. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/toot.gif is there any way to controll the 3 motors inside individualy via DMX? or is the only way u can control the pattern by channel 3? Also by "Lazer Sky" effect... does this refer to the slow spinning flat oval shaped pattern? if not then how do i get the sky effect... a lazer sky effect to me is when there is a flat (the oval shape will do) beam that just stays still in a horizontal position. Thanks

good cd decks are more expencive than good TTs ... but depending which type of DJ u want to be really determins what type ofd setup you should buy. If you want to be a mobile dj and do partys and stuff then i suggest getting a twin CD player with all the usual features and a big 19'' mixer with atleast 4 channels (always looks the buisness) but if you want to be a club DJ i suggest you go with Vinyl and get some TTs. Beatmatching is a lot more fun and more hands on with TTs instead of just pressing buttons all night with CDs. also TTs look the buisness in a club. I dont know whats best fo
  8. I now own 2 of these and i think there great barrel scans. They give a decent output (250w) and have a large number of gobos (14) and are pretty cheap to buy (around £170 from a retailer but can be bought for around £100 on online auctions). Spec- Model: MJS-3 Lamp: 250W Gobos + Colors: 14 colored gobos + white Strboe: 1-4 fps DMX Channels: 4 Audio Control: Yes Connectors: 3 pin XLR Dimensions (LxWxH): 475X220x160 mm Weight: 7.7 kg The built in audio shows are very good and so are the auto shows, they look alkot better when linked to multiple units too. there ligh
  9. chjris, just want to make sure that you have noticed that the 1 & 2 are on opposite sides on the sockets. sdo i believe you will need to swap 1 & 2 as well as 2 & 3 if you get me? thanks, and ill go for the 11.25 cable. so basicly i want 2x 6meter DMX cable AND 1x custom crossover cable at any length.
  10. so how much will it cost chris? .. including 2 more 6m ish normal cables?
  11. yup ill just put a little sticker on it so i know that its the one. and its ok with only being able to use those effect with that controller because i only have geni lights (2 spinmaster3s and 2 scans) and so its ideal. if when making the cable u made it in a fancy colour it would make things easier http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/laugh.gif but im not bothered, stickers work fine
  12. Chris, would you be able to make me up a custom dmx cable so i can connect my soundlab dmx controller (the one you supply with the colour scans) to my geni mojo spinmaster 3s? i tried making my own but its a little dodgy and u have to have the cable in a certain possition for it to work and im sure this would never be classed as safe and its a pain in the a:cense: so i need one proffessionaly made. anyway, the settings on the controller are as in the photos bellow Spinmaster http://www.freedommusic.co.uk/spin1.jpg Souindlab Controller http://www.freedommusic.co.uk/dmx1.jpg
  13. well the thing about that is that the lights will be centered on the stage and so noone can chase em around (as fun as it may seem it will ruin the performance if the 50 kids on stage all decided to run around after a gobo lol)... thats why I was hoping on smoke becuase it would give something more to look at rather than a bunch of moving gobos... just one more thing, the school has said that they cant turn off the sensor to the hall because it would breech there safety regulations... whether this is the truth or not i dont know but i can hardly argue so I'll just have to do without it and
  14. well when I go in to install the lighting I will see where the sensor is... there might not even be one in that room (the main hall)... Ive never noticed one before!... and seen as I will only be using a little smoke it might not matter if the sensor is at the other end of the room etc. also i dont want to fork out on a hazer, it might be better for some things but kids love the smoke pouring out over them... great when u get a cheer because of it haha. dont think i'll be using smoke... but one more thing... surly nightclubs and so on have fire alarms... and would have to have them
  15. Well it looks like i wont be using smoke then... ill have to focus more on the gobo patterns than in-air beams of light... *sigh* lol
