Totally agree Rob The Bride to be has asked for a refund of her deposit. But she is now back to square 1 looking for a disco to meet her criteria. just to add on further to the post chatting to her cost was not a real question but experience was a major factor for her.

I tend to use time and distance using google maps and charge at a flat rate per mile of as per HM revenue and customs rates of 40p per mile and base it on a return trip.

I have been quoting for more functions have won some but bookings are down on a year ago but are up for next year. For me the christmas period is fully booked (Friday and Saturdays)

Agreed and have the ex wifes to prove it. This is how it all starts for sure spend some time with your lady and never take her for granted because one day you will come home to find her gone and thats from experience. I don't mean to be blunt but I am on number 3 and spend as much time as I can with Elaine because I am going to make the same mistakes as before.

I agree with Spinner try Studiospares they have got some deals on on at the moment on headphones. I used to use cheaper headphones but they didn't last the course buying 1-2 pairs a year. Pioneer HDJ 1000 are expensive but mine lasted 9 years before the broke beyond repair. It will be a personal choice of what to buy the cheaper brands will last if you are not going to be using them and abusing them 3-4 times a week on the road.

Interesting views. I can't see it catching on really but I can see the attraction towards it. There could be more people in the bar than on the dance floor. Interesting that Dan mentioned the silent Disco boys and girls..... Did you enquire to the price and did that include the DJ(s) just a thought as a local venue has just held such an event which was a great success but cost them more than double to what they normally pay for their monthly disco.

Nothing for me Saturday sunday - Wedding exhibition Saturday so far has been spent fitting a Ladder rack to the van to carry the truss for next Saturdays function, then check out the lighting equipment ready for next weekends function.

I will post a report and some photos. I haven't been to BPM as yet but I here that its well woth a visit.
