Ok thanks all,just wasnt to sure thats all..to be honest I am not taking wedding bookings yet until I am confident enough to know that I am not going to ruin someones big day!! I will just take their deposit and turn up on the day,one other thing..Do you think its best to contact the venue to see what time I can setup etc?

As I am still new to this game and I have a lot to learn another question has just popped into my head. When you take a confirmed booking and you get the contract and booking form back do you arrnge to meet the cleint before the event? Do you go to their house or anything like that? Or do you just stick to phone and email communication? Just want to know thats all dont want to be ingnorant to my clients,even though I only have 3 up to now lol

Nice one..I had my first gig a few weeks ago and I was :poo: meself..after a few songs and a few nervous announcements I was fine..I left the venue on a massive high. So I am sure you will be fine lol :pro:

T o be honest I think it is a processer problem,but I might be wrong!!What processer has it got?

I use Nero to do this..just burn an audio cd instead of jukebox mp3..but you have to pay for nero..Dont know if there are any free programs

cooking the processer possibly? cant you just turn the volume down on the laptop and up on the amp? Plus you dont get a lot of ventilation on a laptop so might be overheating the processer

They are good..just have to download the updated drivers because it doesnt support vista,plus mess about with advance settings but its easy once you know how

Got it off ebay for 51 quid!! But I do believe you can get em from whybuynew for 90 Aye that one looks good but I like the cue search on the bcd find it easy to use,plus its way cheaper lol

I will defo keep you all posted! Got a charity event in May its a Masqerade which should be interesting! Thought I would take this gig because local newspapers will be there so free advertising!

To be honest I havent got the money thats why I was looking at this one..They can be picked up now for £65-95 so wouldnt mine going for one,plus it save messing about with the mouse onscreen to move the volume and fader together..plus th bass mid and trble controls!! Just had a look at that Numark Omni Control thing at that does look the biz but out of my price league for now,(any one know any really nice lonesharks that will not break my legs lol)

Was thinking of buying this to control virtual Dj so I could try and get the Vinyl feel back into my sets( if you get my drift) Been looking on youtube and it does control virtual Dj features as well as others amd also vista driver is downloadable from another source. Just thought I would ask yours opinion seeing as though You lot have been brilliant with everything else I have needed to know since stating my mobile Djing venture!!
