superstardeejay 0 Posted December 18, 2005 Report Share Posted December 18, 2005 If it's acoustic feedback, ie howling like from a microphone that's too close to a speaker, you've probably got your laptop built-in microphone switched on. It will provide foldback through the soundcard. Turn it off in your sound properties menu. . Link to post Share on other sites

Gruff 0 Posted December 19, 2005 Report Share Posted December 19, 2005 Hi all, Here's an update, I picked up a ground loop isolator and took my stereo output from the laptop into the isolator, and took two mono outputs from the isolator into the mixer.
