DO NOT TRUST CYBERMARKET

Just a note to let everyn know not to trust cybermarket.

 

 

I orderd some lights from them which i desperately reqiured for a gig.

 

They told me they would be with me in time. I waited two days at home to receive the item, and it never turned up.

I had to then get in contact and ask them what had happened. I received an email saying it was out of stock. When i phoned to complain, someone else told me the item was discontinued.

 

I asked to speak to the manager but was told hed call me back. One week later I had to call as he had not called. only for a rude employer called simon to hang up on me.

 

I rang back and the manager was very aggressive, saying "im too busy to deal with this. We've not taken any money Bye!"

 

That was it.

A rude and incompetant firm.

 

Just thought I'd let you know.

Errrrm, before Google and the other search engines which are lovin' us right now, gets hold of this and Cache's the above post forever, are we sure that theres only one firm, organisation, retailer, whoever.... called Cyber market.

 

Can you give us a link, or web URL to the company you're refering to, oh and what was the item - maybe a retailer here on DJU can help locate the item for you.

 

I've dealt with a company also(?) called Cyber Market, but maybe not the same one, and the product came through within a week, as I recall.

I've never had any problems with Thomann when i've dealt with them.

 

Are we talking about the same place as the OP?

Thomann has a good reputation, and very competitive prices. They are based in Germany, so don't expect next day delivery to the UK. Delivery is stated at 2 - 3 days. However their prices are worth the extra day or two for delivery. They do some good deals on branded equipment as well as lessor known brands, and their JEM smoke fulid is the cheapest i've seen!.

 

I ordered from Cybermarket once, many years ago. Whilst it did take 4 or 5 days to arrive, it did turn up okay.

 

I don't think that This Thomann (Germany) has anything to do with Cybermarket in the UK?.

 

Do a search for Thomann on the forum, there are several other members who have posted that they buy from them.

From our own experiance we have used them twice now, no problems what so ever & quick delivery.

Dont trust turnkey either.

 

they have done nothing but mess me about on refunding me for a radio mic. 3 weeks later they still havent refunded me.

Its good to hear people saying where the horrible companys are i have had issues with my local computer company and have told everyone about it but to my suprise they have had the same sort of problem.

 

I now listen to what people say and voice my concerns over companys we all know that things go wrong (We have all had a bad disco) but it is how they fix it that is the main issue (you know how good a insurance company is only after a accident). The company i had a issue with is JAL Computers and they pushed me out of the shop for making a complaint. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/1106.gif

 

Please people keep telling us who the crap companys are so that we can avoid them.

I remember being in a similar situation with a certain national car dealership who sold me a deathtrap of a van http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/188.gif . Then my very next call would be to the Department of Transport to lodge a complaint and demand that they review the garages MOT testing procedures.
