My name is Duane Farr and I run Zest Entertainment which is a DJ agency currently geared towards nightclubs with many specialist and celebrity radio DJs. My next move is to move into the private party / mobile disco market. Aswell as running Zest I also DJ and have noticed a lot of the bookings I get are for private parties and have been teaming with a friend Dylan O'Byrne and usually hiring the gear. Mobile work can be more gratifying than clubs and late night bars as payoff is good and you know people are out for good time. As mentioned I DJ and am formost a lover of music, my style I specialise in is Eclectic Grooves. Which includes: classic Hip Hop, Funk, Disco, Jazz, Soul and upfront contemporary House and Nu Jazz. So it wouldn't surprise you if I told you my favourite DJ is Norman Jay MBE! Some of you may have already met me at the recent SEDA meeting in January just a couple of weeks ago. I look forward to getting to know of you. The other thing I'm working to towards is setting up a DJ association for where I am now based in Bournemouth, after going to the SEDA meeting I can the benefits of this for all concerned.
