Gary 0
OK, picture the scene. You've arrived at the large, un-staffed village hall type venue nice and early, as you were lugging your gear in, a couple of family members or possibly friends of the 21st Birthday boy were just finishing off the blu-tak'd banners on the walls and arranging various cling-filmed plates on the buffet table etc. Now, an hour later, you're all set-up, sound and light tests done and, thanks to surprisingly good parking, and easy access, you're the only person in the hall, with no-one due to turn up for 25 minutes. So...what disco/DJ related activity would you do with that 25 minutes? Listen to some tunes? get some mixing practice in, play with a feature/function on the lighting? Something else?.... otronics 0
Have a look around the venue, locating food ( http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif ), toilets, fire exits (well, someone needs to know what is going on just in case) and see whats going on around the place event-wise (if there are any notice boards) Look at tracks to play and put something on in the background with some disco lighting (if dark) Oliver Head, OTronics Media Services Ltd, Covering Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset and surrounding areas.
