Eskie 0
Played there many times, very small venue, depends whether they ask you to setup upstairs or downstairs, either way it's difficult to put lights on a tripod or goalpost stand and you'll probably have to have them on the floor under speaker stands or such like. Downstairs there is a very small hatch where the DJ usually places his equipment. The staff are friendly, the manager used to be a guy called Christian, he's a top bloke, I think he may still be there. If you're arriving/departing at low tide it's a nightmare, as the boat is permanently moored but it makes an extremely steep slope at low tide for getting your gear on/off. You won't need much gear though as it's very small; parking can sometimes be tricky also, but if you're lucky you can park right outside the quay; although I believe recently there have been roadworks etc outside there so not sure of the present situation. Good luck http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/thumbup.gif Anthony Winyard Entertainment www.awe-dj.co.uk, Entertaining London & the South-East!
