Gnarles Berkley - Crazy

I think this wicked tune is going straight to no1 on release. I cannot find any promo service which has it. Anyone here know who is promoting it, and how I can get hold of it?

Cheers,

Brian

I thought this was a fantastic track when I first heard it - however thanks to the usual playlist heads at Radio 1 - who seem to have the track on hourly rotation - its burnt out a bit already - and its not even been released yet.

Zane Lowe on their evening show has been hammering it to death for months now as well. Very annoying. There's only so many times you want to hear a particular track no matter how good it is.

There are some sales of the promo of it on Ebay - whether they are legal sales is another matter.

The Gnarls Barkley track is released April 1 on WEA. Currently used in a TV ad promoting Zane Lowe on Radio 1

If you're still up, watch one of the late news reports - it's been on several editions of the News this evening.

Failing that, I predict it'll be a feature on the morning edition of BBC Breakfast ... with a couple of muso industry pundits prophesising the demise of the non-download music single format(s).

Well, in there you've got singles such as :

  • Leo Sayer - Thunder In My Heart (1977)
  • Michael Jackson - The Way You Make Me Feel (1987)
  • Candi Station - You Got The Love (1991)
  • U2 - One (1992)

plus Madonna, Depeche Mode, Morrissey ...

It's currently being plugged to death on every adbreak between GMTV http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/whistling.gif - it's in the shops today, wish I had taken Brians tip and put a few hundred quid on it at the bookies http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/014.gif

Do a search on google and it's being talked about more on blogs than the Cha Cha Slide http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/scared.gif - looks like this could be even bigger
