Why thank you http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/tongue.gif

I had an excellent night, Whitstable Rugby Club, easy access even though it was upastairs! They were wide stairs outside onto a large balcony and through double doors and set up just next to the doors! Cracking crowd, nice venue staff, got offered drinks all night. Plus they danced! http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/cool.gif

I recorded the gig onto MD, so im just bunging it onto MP3 now, then if someone would be so kind as to tell me how, i will upload it somewhere for you to listen to! However, the MD ran out about 20 minutes before the end, so you don't get to hear the grand finalle! Plus, it dies for about 5 secs in the middle somewhere, as i unplugged the MD signal cable by accident! And also for some reason when i had the mic on, it made the MD buzz, but it didn't buzz through the sound system! And also, near the end the when the MD is giving up, one of the songs starts to drop out and back in, dunno why though http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/533.gif

So how do i get it uploaded http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/kid.gif

Has Mr Mole started carrying around 2 conifers and some Xmas tree lights http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/scared.gif

Yep, they were in the room already! Those were really useful as that is normally where I put my speakers, so no one would brain themselves on an Acme Dynamo!

The Bose PAS was excellent, really nice sound quality with beautiful undistorted bass. It projected quite well down the room too. I look forward to the second stick arriving soon.

Easy Life!!

Yep, can't complain!

Just back from a week in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt and would recommend it to anyone who fancies a bit of Winter Sun.

Wouldn't go during the summer though, they reckon the temperature hits nearly 50c... http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/hide.gif

The complimentary herbal remedy was lovely too...

Ahh the old Hubble Bubble aka Shie Shie Pipe!!! (Dunno if that's spelt right http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/hide.gif )

What flavour did you have? I went to egypt with my old school in Easter 2004, excellent holiday! Truelly amazing place and fantastic people! We toured from Cairo to Luxor then down to Sharm and back up to Cairo. 14 days there, was excellent!

Stayed in the Sheraton Luxor for 5 nights, which had an amazing nightclub! Pumping sound system, amazing light show,2 DJ's every night and a VJ projecting onto screens all over the place! Plus it was for hotel guests only, so me and my mates were usually the last people in the place at 4am! Even though we had to get up at 8 for breakfast http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/wacko.gif It was suprising just how liniant (sp?) they were on the law for under-age drinking seen as it is a Muslim country. I didn't think Muslims drank, but i guess it could of been as it was in the hotel bars and nightclubs! Plus it was all inclusive http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/beer.gif

If you ever get the chance to visit Egypt, don't be put off by the terrorist attacks on Sharm, or just because of the countries location, it is acctually a long way from the war zone! Plus tourists are treated like royalty, we even had armed guard escorts everywhere we went, but i guess that's because we were a group of 50 british school kids! But yeah, if you get the chance GO! http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/thumbup.gif

Yep, Hubble Bubble, not a hint of hashish in sight (honest gov!), the one in the photo was a sort of peppermint flavour.

Almost 50% of our return flight took one of these pipes back as hand luggage http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/thumbup.gif

Not sure if the woman is tied to the chair, but it would be the only way you could make me watch some of the animation team's so called "entertainment"... http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/wacko.gif

Pretty much everybody from the school took one back when we went! Even the teachers! http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif It's not meant to be for smoking weed though, it's for flavoured tabacoo, most of which has no nicotine in it. It's much healtheir than smoking as the smoke is dragged through water (or beer for something a little differnet) in the bottom so losses most of the harmfull chemicals, but keeps the flavour!

It's great fun to drag it out after a BBQ as you can use the hot coals from the cooking. Wouldn't try it on a beach BBQ mind, get some weird looks from dog walkers http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/533.gif
