ian . 0
Hiya all. Purchased a Mission Tecsonic Mike a few days ago with a view to it being a cheap spare cabled backup. It's down in price at the moment being under £15! Comes complete with 5m XLR to Jack cable. It's metal type body does make for a few finger/hand sounds if handled rough whilst switched on, but my main complaint about it has to be the volume - or lack of it. The volume has to be turned right up, and even then the voice is still not as loud as it should be. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b248/ianyng/MISMIC_b.jpg My opinion? Unless you don't mind having the volume ramped right up on your mic channel, leave it in the shop. Kingy 0
In this price bracket, the best one available is without doubt the Behringer. That really does beat all the budget competition and is ideal if you only need an occasional mic. Set of 3 mics were less than £30. Bargain.
