brianmole 0
A local DJ to me does a lot of kids discos, he wants to branch into the more lucrative wedding scene. At the moment, he uses some dreadful JB systems 10" speakers with some crummy amp, running off an IMG mixer and Numark CDN22 which are both good enough for the job. However, the amp & speakers which are fine for the kids just will not do for a wedding. He has a budget of £500. Options are powered speakers or amp and speakers. I suggested we should look at a brand new amp, and possibly second hand speakers, or a new powered setup. What do you suggest?

brianmole 0
Steve, mine are worthless second hand, but I will need them occasionally, so not an option. Marc, what are you thinking of? Altos FBTs?
