Sunday -Me, Family & Friends are gathering in South Park, Oxford for the Cancer Research Charity run to see my mum and thousands more to take part in the sponsored run Monday - Start my 4 year electrical aprenticeship with Trinity Protection (Head office and training centre happens to be in Exeter http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/laugh.gif so if im sent down for a week Andy, your welcome to treat me to some of your "local" grub and fine beverages ) So all in all, a Fun...draising weekend http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif (excuse the pun http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/tongue.gif ) Are you ready Brian?, Andy?, Bubbles, Eskie.......Right fellows lets plaaaaay! Saturday Evening: Got a big rig to go into Mote Park, Maidstone. A football presentation evening, followed by disco. I'm providing the PA, radio mics and then doing the disco. It's a massive venue, and we have roughly 300 guests arriving! Can't decide wether to use 6m of Astralite on 2 stands, or 10m on 6 stands! Oh decisions! Hall was empty to begin with so I wound up a single P.A.S. and 2 B1's. Very Satisfied. Did not reach maximum. I chickend out. Stage Floor and windows were vibrating. Hall has a licence for 250 persons. Bass was loud but not punchy. would use both P.A.S systems if More Bass was needed. Saturday. 40th Birthday in Gravesend and Pub Disco/Karaoke in Maidstone. The lighting guy had let them down and could I supply some 'flashy light thingy's' I setup up two water effects and two Acme Falcons with smoke effects.
