Gary 0
QUOTE (Chris_Pointon @ Jul 26 2006, 01:30 PM) TomTom Rider @ £315 enter “THELINK25” Is TomTom Rider the one for motorcyclists? I hear that its got a lot of great features including a few which will appeal to the 1% minority of cycle riders who are a menace to themselves, the other 99% of motorcyclists, and everyone else...: *) All speed limits are displayed with a "1" in front of them - just in case "Computer error" forms any part of an aliby. *) All motorways are shown as having 7 lanes - the 3 for motorists and the 4 extra ones (inbetween the cars, the hard shoulder and the central reservation. *) All bus stops, laybys and pavements are permissable routes. *) Option in menus to save distance by allowing wing-mirror clipping, racing curves. *) Fuel-station reminder to remove your helmet when paying so that no-one automatically thinks "Robber!" as you walk through the door. *) Option in menus for "follow the leader" rides - ideal for those times where 3 "experienced" muppets whiz past you with a mm to spare on a blind hilltop corner, but the 4th one chickens out and just sits swaying 2 inches off your back bumper for the next 25 miles. *) No on-screen display of double white lines - (they're only painted on roads for decoration anyway, right?) *) Comes in a variety of stripey colours to match the "plastic fantasic" Power-Ranger motorcycle outfits. http://www.rangercentral.com/gallery/data/550/medium/prdt_back_in_black_160.jpg

Kingy 0
http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/071.gif Not got a Bike then Gary?? Round here there isn't a bike problem. You are more likely to be run down by some 17 year old in a chav mobile. But that's a different thread altogether. Back on thread: I am very pleased with my Tom Tom Go. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/goodjob.gif Would strongly recommend them. Same here... I've got Tom Tom on my Pocket PC - very happy with it. Theres the occasional route which I wonder why it takes me one way, when theres a definate quicker way, but aside from that, no concerns.
superstardeejay 0
Does anyone use a motorbike for mobile disco work? No more problems trying to back the transit up a narrow drive, just drive straight into reception. .
McCardle 1
no, but i once had a small trailor that used to fit through double firedoors "The voice of the devil is heard in our land" 'War doesn't determine who is right, war determines who is left, and you wont win this war.'
