Is TomTom Rider the one for motorcyclists?

 

I hear that its got a lot of great features including a few which will appeal to the 1% minority of cycle riders who are a menace to themselves, the other 99% of motorcyclists, and everyone else...:

 

*) All speed limits are displayed with a "1" in front of them - just in case "Computer error" forms any part of an aliby.

 

*) All motorways are shown as having 7 lanes - the 3 for motorists and the 4 extra ones (inbetween the cars, the hard shoulder and the central reservation.

 

*) All bus stops, laybys and pavements are permissable routes.

 

*) Option in menus to save distance by allowing wing-mirror clipping, racing curves.

Round here there isn't a bike problem. You are more likely to be run down by some 17 year old in a chav mobile.

Same here... I've got Tom Tom on my Pocket PC - very happy with it.

 

Theres the occasional route which I wonder why it takes me one way, when theres a definate quicker way, but aside from that, no concerns.
