spinner 0
My New Year's Eve gig is at the same hotel as last year. The rate is only slightly more than I would charge for a wedding but the access is good and it's only 20 minutes away!!

spinner 0
As with the wedding rates poll, only a few people are in the upper echelons. Locations of gigs might prove interesting.

milhouse 0
One of my residencies asked for a price for NYE. I said £350.00. His reply was "What the F:cense:" In the same breath he then said "Ok you're booked".
Dynamicdiscos 0
I'm only going to be charging the same as a wedding. Originally I wasn't going to work but we got asked to DJ at our local indian restaurant with is only just down the road. Free food and drinks, a small venue and a 2 minute journey home. Why don't we start making hellium filled bubble wrap?
It would help keep postage costs down.
jamminroadshow 0
Everyone seems not to like Djing on NYE but i love it loads of fun people being merry and the power that you have when it comes to the time for countdown its great. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/goodjob.gif

Dj_Kray 0
I do understand why if you do a gig at the same place a lot you would do it at or near the normal gig price but i normally do a fair few different places over xmas and would rather be with my wife and friends nye so thats why im working for 700 quid. Norfolk DJ 0
Interesting that 45% of the votes are between £200-400. Suggests that NYE is around double time. I think when I started it was triple time.
TonyB 0
Perhaps the thread being a year old may have something to do with the pricing?
