zoltron 0
Okay I new here not not so new to the Mobile DJ scene, my problem is I'm looking for a place to buy music dvds for use at my gigs. I did come across a site not so long back to buy such material and as I recall the dvds were £60.00 each, however I can't find the site any longer, I know it still exists but I just can't remember the url, can anyone jog my memory. I think the dvds are sold by pioneer.

Dukesy 0
Hi Firstly welcome to the forum. Mixmash work very closely with Pioneer. Mixmash discs are true PAL encoded discs, suitable for the Pioneer DVJX1 and the DVJ1000 models. As well as music videos, Mixmash also support Visual discs - Visit Mixmash Mixmash Music Video Discs range from £35 each and include 30 tracks. Visual Discs start from £25. zoltron 0
thanks for that, i'm sure that link will be the first of many. The prices are quite reasonable, i think £35 is alot better than £60 and quality of the content looks identical. I have the projector and a rear projected 72" screen, but all I have put on the screen is the milkdrop plugin from OTSDJ up until now as I plan to drop in the video where possible once I get some content and a back library. Dukesy 0
For the UK, any PAL encoded DVD off the supermarket shelf will be fine in the players. The NOW Music DVDs work in the players but there is little material available. However, there have been instances where NTSC / US encoded Discs have caused problems in the playback of some players so do check the label first. To my knowledge, Mixmash are working with the BBC on new projects.....good news for the consumer, as they say. Currently, Mixmash provide the following visual discs with more to come: DVJ Vision - Club Visuals 1 Seventies Visuals Halloween Visuals Salsa Visuals Vegas Casino Visuals Projected Solutions Graph Beats Visuals Nite Lites Visuals Shadow Dancers Vol. 1 to 11 Shadow Dancers 10 DVD Box Set Resident Alien - View From The Machine Edited October 18, 2006 by Dukesy
