Any advice for Cyprus?

Recommended Posts

Off to Cyprus tomorrow at dawn for a holiday with Mrs Mole, DJ Loulou (10) and Simon (8). I can't stand going to places full of p:cense:ed brits 'on holiday', and I don't want to find the best english breakfast or Irish pub, or Maccie Dee's abroad so do you have any must not miss experiences that I should take in?

What are your recommendations?

Hire a car & take a drive into the northern (Turkish occupied) area which has only recently been opened for tourists.

Really, is this safe? We have a car hired as we are staying in a villa in a place called Tochni http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/533.gif

Right that's legally binding in my mind!
