That's 2,400 watts peak, or 600 watts RMS.

Not a terrible lot, but as the cabinets are pretty efficient at the very deep end of the bass range where 'lesser' designs start to soak up the power, they have a good output in that range possibly comparable to double or quadruple the power fed into a smaller cabinet.

 

In practice, there isn't that much music about which contains bass that deep, but when it comes along, it's nice. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/smile.gif
